Having Hope will give you courage. Job 11:18 NLT

ABOUT COVENANT COUNSELORS, LLC

Thoughts and feelings about our problems and disappointments can lead to depression and anxiety. When we realize that what we are currently doing is not working, feelings of inadequacy often add to our self-doubt. By talking about your thoughts and feelings, you are then free to search for solutions to your problems. At Covenant Counselors, we believe that hope for a better life is the first step in the healing process.

OUR APPROACH

Barbara Boland, M.Ed., LPC, NCC

I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who serves people who are dealing with the many stages of life. All of us will experience challenges in our meaningful lives. But together, we can work on personal growth, relationships and resolving conflict. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from the Citadel and licensure as a professional counselor from the state of South Carolina.

Tina Kuhlmann, M.Ed., M.A., LPC

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I encourage clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I work with clients to identify strengths they already possess and help them to learn new skills that will enable them to live a life of joy and contentment. I believe that a strong working relationship between the client and therapist is the key to success in treatment. I approach that relationship with warmth, compassion, and non-judgement. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel and I am licensed in the state of South Carolina to practice as a professional counselor.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

At Covenant Counselors, we are committed to providing evidence-based
treatment with a faith-based aproach to empower clients to achieve
emotional and spiritual well-being. We believe that hope for a better life is the first step in the healing process.
